Sigurd Ottovich Schmidt had a variety of different haircuts during his lifetime. He reached fame as an excellent historian, university teacher, ethnologist and local historian. However, the Russian historian was mainly known for his special looks and his adorable personality. Before his death at the age of 91 he was again and again talked about in magazines and tabloids due to his exceptionally hair and looks.
